The background
This website contains a collection of anecdotes, homilies, musings, journals and articles collected by Malc and Lucy over many years. It is an attempt to gather together all those memories that get forgotten as we age.
Many of the posts need editing, they are quick first attempts at recording an event or memory. As we get time the number of posts that require editing will reduce.
If you were part of any of these anecdotes, add your memories by responding in the comments section (be aware that this is a public website and anyone can see it).
Also included are articles and musings from other people which have triggered our thoughts and in some cases changed the way that we perceive the world.
How To find things of interest
This WordPress website is primarily for our personal use, to remember events of our lives and record things that we find interesting. It is designed to be used on a phone or tablet, whenever we want to look something up.
When you see a blue underlined word or phrase clicking on it will open a ‘link’ to another post in a new tab. You can get back to the post you were reading by closing the new tab (or opening the original one). It does mean that you could end up with a lot of open tabs, however this is a design decision that works for me.
The Menu above gives access to groups of posts.
The Autobiography- Malcolm is an ongoing work, attempting to record all of the anecdotes and stories of his life.
Every post is added to a least one category and the Categories option enables selection by that grouping
The Index option lists all of the Tags that have been used and will then display posts with that tag.
The other way to find posts is by using the Search criteria that appears on the bottom of the page, this is a quick way to find posts that contain certain words. Only posts that contain all of the words entered will appear.
